Parking to remain limited until the summer​

As of January 27, 2025, you are invited to visit us in the main building at 291 – 4th Street for all your banking, wealth management, and insurance needs. Please note that parking will remain limited until summer 2025 while we reconstruct the member parking lot—thank you for your patience and understanding.

Project update

The transformation of our building was completed in January 2025, come by and take a look! 

Sustainability was our priority for this complex renovation. From designing an outdoor rooftop to provide green space, to using renewable wood construction material, and installing a heating and cooling system that's energy efficient, Coastal Community has reduced its carbon footprint—and preserved the life of an older building. Courtenay residents can look forward to bike racks and an Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station in the parking lot later this year.

We want to thank our employees, members and clients for your support and understanding while we provided full banking and insurance services from temporary offices in the parking lot for six months. We’re grateful for your patience during construction.

How to access services at 4th Street, Courtenay 

 

Parking will remain limited until summer 2025—while we reconstruct our east member parking lot. We have designated a limited number of parking spaces for members and clients. Please see the City of Courtenay's downtown parking map which provides options for free street parking in the area.

Yes, the ATMs will remain accessible during our renovation period. We have also added new functionality to one of the machines, so you now have the option to speak to a live teller to get help. In November 2024, we installed an exterior ATM—open 24/7.

You are welcome to visit our second Courtenay location at 1045 Ryan Road. Or drop by our location at 202 - 1797 Comox Avenue in Comox. Both locations are open Monday – Friday from 9:30am to 5pm.
